|POP authentication Example setup using Outlook Express.
This POP example can be used for Outlook Express and Outlook 97-2000.
IMAP can also be used, but the important piece is the SMTP Authentication. If your client is unable to send email via SMTP, it won't retrieve any email either.
|First: go to the Tools menu, and then click Accounts.|
|Next, Select the Account you setup for VFEmail.|
|On the 'Servers' tab:
Make sure you are using POP3 (or IMAP), and the last check-box: "My server requires authentication" is checked.
|On the 'Advanced' tab, make sure you are using SSL for incoming OR outgoing mail.|
|Outlook should now be ready to send and receive mail.
Please note the following:
1. There is a 25MB email size limit at vfemail.net
Any questions can be sent to email@example.com
